Who doesn’t love it? The rain and cold securely locked away behind the window and there you are with a blanket, a cup of tea and a good book.

So I’m doing T5W’s now. And this week is a perfect week to start, because rainy days are my favorite reading setting.
So let’s get listing!

#5 Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

A book about an adventure on a rainy island. And you are even happier about the warmth of your blanket.
The story is really easy to get into and keeps you invested until the very end.

#4 Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan

God(s) this series is captivating and addictive. Before you know it you are already ordering the Heroes of Olympus box set online.

#3 Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

A cup of tea in your hand and Daemon Black on your mind. Swooning about the smutty romance you must be careful not to forget to drink your tea when it’s still hot (like Daemon). This series will soon become your guilty pressure read. Cheese, hotties, bad boys, and just so much cheese. AND the main character is a book blogger!

#2 Any thing ever written by Rainbow Rowell

Ehmm… I gotta tell you guys, Rainbow is my queen. She is everything. Just thinking about her makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and her books make me smile from ear to ear. And who doesn’t love some cutesy on a rainy day.

#1 Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

Do I need to explain this. I hope not. I mean they are basically the perfect read, always. And especially on a rainy day. Just get lost in this magical story and forget that you still have to take the dog for a walk in an hour or so.

So there you have it, my top 5 Rainy Day Reads. Let me know yours!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
